Yakima Public Health

 The Yakima Health District has adopted new fees related to the vital records program. Beginning January 1, 2011 the following fees will be considered in addition to the $20.00 fee.

2011 Vital Record Fees
Expedited Service Fee (per name)	$10.00	new
Mailing Fee (per address) – regular mail	$2.00	new
Mailing Fee (per address) – Priority/Express Mail	$7.00	new
Error Correction Fee (per name)	$20.00	new
Search Fee (per certificate)	$8.00	new
Death Certificate Preparation (per certificate)	$40.00	new
Plastic Covers	$0.25	new
Effective January 1, 2011

Certified copies of birth certificates are available at the Yakima Health District Monday-Friday, between 8:30am-12:15pm & 1:30pm-4:30pm for  Washington State births from 1919 to the present. The cost is $20.00 each. There are additional fees for same day service and mail requests. 
Death Certificates for Yakima County deaths from 1980 to the present are also available.
